So this is the design/layout for my end of year project website. The site is supposed to be the "Official Deadlock Movie Website", because my final project is based around our class' end of year film (Deadlock). Ive chosen this document/folder look, because i wanted it to seem like the events within the film had been documented. (The film involves a car accident & some deaths from some of the characters, so a police report of sorts would be logical, i feel). There is also a concept that one of the characters, though the cause of the crash, wasn't actually there, & it was his 'spirit' that stepped out in front of the car, not him, & that he had died several years previously (hence why it looks a little worn & torn, as if its an old case that has been reopened due to this new accident).
The main links at the top will, when working, layer up on top of each other, & navigate you to a general area of interest, while the tabs on the side (coloured) will take you around the area in more detail. For example, in the 'Team' section, there will be a cast & crew thing going on, so each tab on the side will relate to a different part of the cast & crew, & then, in the media section, the tabs will change to show pages on video trailers, the music used in the film & photographs & posters related to the film.
Im looking now, for some critique to use in my evaluations & any thoughts of how i could change it for the better (if you have any)
(Update : Just finished the tabs. the most im going to use is 12 i think, so yeah..there..)
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
